Artist Biography

Photographer and film-maker Chris Keenan works internationally on a range of self-initiated and commissioned projects. Perhaps the most significant has been his repeated trips to New Orleans, originally documenting the city’s underground music scene, before the effects of Hurricane Katrina led to Chris revisiting in both 2006 and 2007. With photographic work published in Dazed and Confused and Vice magazines, other projects have taken Chris to Prague in search of 60’s Czech psych-rock group Plastic People of The Universe.
